GIFT AID
As you may be aware, for every £1 donated to your church by a tax payer, an additional 28p can be reclaimed by the parish from the Inland Revenue through the Gift Aid Scheme. To qualify, the donor must currently be paying sufficient Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax to cover the sum which the parish will claim on your donation. If this applies to you, why not request a Gift Aid form which will mean that our parish may claim these extra funds at no additional cost to you?
Please note, if you have completed a Gift Aid form and your financial circumstances change (meaning that we should not be claiming a tax recovery on your contributions) please do let us know. Your assistance with regards to this matter would be deeply appreciated
Please see the Treasurer of either St Saviour’s or Kilmore for the appropriate form. Thank You
Church Contributions – if you are currently attending worship but not contributing through the use of Church Envelopes, may we invite you to consider requesting some for next year? Or as an alternative you may wish to set up a standing order for monthly contributions directly into the Church Account. Anyone who contributes by either method, may still remain anonymous on our Annual Church Financial Report if they wish. An added benefit of using either means is that through the Gift Aid Scheme, if you are a Tax Payer, our parishes can reclaim 28p for every pound you give from the Inland Revenue, at no additional cost to yourself. If you would like any further information regarding Church Finances or any aspect of our Churches’ ministry, please contact us on : enquiries.kilmoreandstsaviours@armagh.anglican.org
