CHURCH LADS’ AND CHURCH GIRLS’ BRIGADE: Congratulations to members of our CLB and CGB for their success at the recent National Unihoc and Athletics Competition in Blackpool. The girls (age 14 –16 years) won the gold medal for Unihoc and the boys won bronze in the same age category. Ruth Potts achieved a silver medal in the Long Jump and along with her sister, Rebecca, won Gold as part of an Ulster Companies Relay Team. The boys also excelled in Athletics with Sasha Quinn, Paul Brown and Patrick Chapman all returning home with silver medals. The Regimental Volleyball Competition takes place in St Saviour’s Parish Hall on November 13th, at 7pm.
QUIZ AT KILMORE: A Table Quiz will be held in Kilmore Parish Centre on Friday, 6th November at 7pm. Proceeds will be in aid of Parish Funds. All are most welcome for a good night of fun together!
PARISH PRAYER: Beginning on Sunday, November 29th (Advent Sunday), Parish Prayer Meetings will be held each week in alternate Church Buildings, on Sunday Mornings at 9am. All are encouraged to attend and participate in these meetings as we desire to see the Lord glorified in our worship and daily witness for Him. Please observe Parish News Sheets / Website for guidance as to where these meetings will take place.
MORNING SERVICES IN NOVEMBER: Morning Services with Acts of Remembrance will take place in both churches at usual times on Sunday, November 8th. On Sunday, November 15th, we look forward to welcoming special guests who will share with us about the work of Gideon’s International.
ADVENT CAROL SERVICE: The annual Advent Carol Service will take place in Kilmore Church on Sunday 29th November, at 07:00pm. All are most welcome and we are most grateful to the Poyntzpass Silver Band for their continued willingness to lead us in worship at this service.
THURSDAY FRIENDSHIP CLUB: Our meetings continue on the first and third Thursday of the month (10am-12pm) in St Saviour’s and Kilmore Halls respectively. On Tuesday 1st December (10am) we are very much looking forward to joining our friends at Richhill Presbyterian Church for a Carol Concert. This will take place instead of our first Thursday morning meeting in December. All are most welcome to join us at any time.
CHRISTMAS PARTIES The annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party will take place in St Saviour’s Hall on Saturday, December 5th at 1pm. All are invited for food, fellowship and entertainment. Younger members are asked to keep an eye out for Church / Organisations’ News Sheets for up and coming Christmas Parties!
CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT: All are invited to attend and enjoy a truly inspiring evening in Kilmore Church on Saturday, 12th December at 7pm. The annual ‘Carols by Candlelight’ event is led by The Lowry Singers (directed by Earl Moffitt) and will feature organist Philip Elliott and mezzo-soprano Ann Houston. Seasonal refreshments will be served afterwards in the Parish Centre and donations received (suggested £10) will be in aid of the Lowry Singers and Parish Funds.

Christmas Day, 9.30 am in Kilmore and 10.30am in St Saviour’s – Holy Communion Family Service
New Year’s Eve, 11.15pm – Watch Night Service in St Saviour’s
